From March 7th to April 1st, we’ll be accepting submissions for the #diveuniverse contest. The photos by contest winners will become part of an exhibition during the festival, on April 20th, at the Disseny Hub Barcelona building.What photos can be submitted?
Any photos taken with a mobile device containing the hashtag that corresponds to the category.
What are the categories?
#divestreetphotography: images of life in public spaces, with people in spontaneous situations
#diveportrait: portraits, head shots, full body… where the individual is the focus.
#divearchitecture: buildings, cities, interiors, structures… concrete!
#diveeverydaylife: moments from your personal day-to-day activities and rituals
#divelandscape: all types of landscapes and styles
#divedomestik: for the most popular types of photos on the web – food, animals and nails
How do I enter the photos?
You can use a variety of channels:
- Instagram: label the photo with the corresponding category (#divelandscape, #diveportrait, etc)
- EyeEm: uploading the photos to the albums

- Flickr: uploading the photo to the groups

- Blipoint: uploading the photo to their mobile application (available for iOS and Android) adding the name of the category your competing in as a key word:

- By email [email protected] indicating the full name of the author with the category name in the subject line of the email.
How are photos chosen for the exhibition?
A judge formed by D-IVE members will select 60 images, 10 for each category, based on quality and originality.
How and when will I know which photos have been selected?
Authors of the selected photographs will be contacted before April 20th through D-IVE’s own networks, and in a message sent from the social network where the photo was uploaded, or by email if it was sent in.
